Live economy design demo here.
Our interconnected game platform Web3 Tokenomics are focused around three main components:
Loyalty Points (LP), which are our game utility focused in-game soft currencies that players earn from gameplay
$PWR, our ecosystem token and means of exchange on our marketplace
NFT Passports, our first NFT offering that unlocks in-game benefits for our players in all integrated Tilting Point titles
Incentive Alignment:
The system intends to align interests between the players, game developers, and Tilting Point so that everyone benefits.
Game Developers are incentivized to provide good LP Shop items to boost Pass NFT usage, daily retention through LP generation, and $PWR redistribution to increase player earnings.
Players are incentivized to purchase a Passport NFT and play daily to generate full LP and buy daily items from the LP shop. Using the Pass NFT will also help increase $PWR earnings by improving redistribution.
Tilting Point is incentivized to provide value from the Pass NFT as a game boost and Profile Picture (PFP) collectible with the utility to increase demand for $PWR.
Loyalty Points
Game-specific soft currencies are integrated directly into every title that joins the Tilting Point ecosystem. They serve as our reward for players' accomplishments and activities. They are flexible to enable our game developer partners to integrate them in a way that makes sense for their game economies and fits with their genre-specific gameplay.
Loyalty Points are planned to have sinks in each game to motivate players to participate in the system directly in an environment theyβre familiar with and to help fight inflationary pressures. Players can purchase in-game items with their hard-earned loyalty points or convert them in the marketplace for $PWR to buy our NFT offerings, enhancing their gameplay. Our players will be able to split payments between fiat and $PWR.
Our foundational NFT offering and cornerstone is the Tilting Point NFT Passport.
NFT Passport
We are focusing our NFT offering to be a Loyalty Point sink rather than optimized for Loyalty Point token-driven inflation. Our games will implement an LP Shop that sells a changing daily selection of in-game items along the lines of in-app purchases (e.g., boosters, lives, currency, etc.). NFT Passports have tiers that increase LP production, and items in the shop are priced according to the LP generation of that game as a daily activity driver. Items are priced with multiple items at the lowest daily tier of LP generation, and a few items of higher tier LP amounts to encourage higher NFT tier ownership. Weβll also plan to have an additional LP sink to βre-rollβ the item selection.
The lower tier NFT Passport Premium tier is good for 30 days and is not limited in supply. Our highest tier Unlimited Passport is exclusive, scarce, and unique to the owner, with an assortment of variants with rare qualities and branded looks. Once an NFT Passport is activated, it expires 30 days later. Each NFT Passport is also designed to be a collectible procedural PFP, ideally linked to a specific game within the ecosystem (to give it some value after the 30 days is up).
Collecting multiple PFPs will be rewarded, and a profile display case can be displayed. The PFP collection used when minting can rotate every 30/60/90 days. There will be a rarity system for PFP attributes to give additional collector value, and expired Players can potentially use NFT Passports for:
Contents/Raffles/Tournament Entry.
Event access.
Access to in-game events for holders of that gameβs PFP
Acting as a semi-customizable avatar (physical traits) where itβs gear/tech can be upgraded based on playing history
Early Access to future drops and allowlists
$PWR Distribution
Each game has an integration that creates a mock automated market maker pool of LP/$PWR tokens in which players exchange LP for $PWR tokens.
The initial ratio of LP/PWR should be adjusted based on LP production for that game so each game will produce the same daily $PWR per player at first. Players will also be able to swap $PWR for LP as this will allow players desperate for an LP shop item to improve the earning for everyone else just to get that LP.
All $PWR tokens spent each day, whether on NFTs or other potential utilities, go into a redistribution pool. For every player in a game that has an active NFT Passport, that game gets a redistribution point.
When players spend $PWR to buy 30DP/UP NFTs, most of the $PWR spent (minus a small Treasury fee) goes into a redistribution pool. At the end of the week (or day if buying activity is high enough to justify it) the contents of the $PWR pool are distributed back into the AMMβs of the games based on a point system. Games get points based on how many players play the game while holding an active 30DP/UP NFT, 1 point per player. Distribution can use a simple percentage of pool formula like % = GamePoints / (TotalPoints/100).
This system would reward the games that are better at encouraging NFT unlocked LP Shop purchases by increasing the $PWR rewards for the players and increasing overall engagement for the game and ecosystem.
